It appears that the hamster is building a brand new platform. That's what i can make up from the ''improve xhamster'' comments.

Under American law, if a company has any operations in the US, the entire entire company must follow US laws and rules. Also, the US controls the bank clearing system in New York, that means if worldwide money is involved the US government is involved. It also means anyone can take legal action through the US courts.
Any video or photo has to have an identified submitter with goveent id and every person in any photo or video needs to sign a release and provide government id. Xham is being sued in court by several people who appeared in Xham photos, several while they were under 18.

The presiding judge, however, ruled that the U.S. court system had no jurisdiction over xHamster, writing, “xHamster is a Cyprus-based company. xHamster has no offices in Iowa, no employees in Iowa, no telephone number in Iowa, and no agent for service of process in xHamster does not advertise in Iowa. No xHamster officer or director has ever visited Iowa. xHamster does not maintain any of its servers within Iowa. XHamster’s total absence of contacts with the State of Iowa is the antithesis of the type of continuous and systematic contacts necessary for exercising general personal jurisdiction over xHamster.” Also on this site, they state in 18.1 about arbitration be conducted in the Republic of Cyprus and 18.2 bound by and apply Cyprus law.
