Priapism due to SSR's

in August of 2023 I had priapism due to SSRI's , I really didn't know what was going on ? I have never taken a boner pill in my life but I woke up with a hard ( not that unusual but this was harder than I have been in a long while , I went back to bed and thought I will JO but the longer I did the harder it got and at this point a little painful , I decided to go to the ER here in my small town ,I'm kind of embarrassed but I go and was rushed to the back and two doctors saw me the one lady doctor wanted to send me to the nearest city to a larger hospital , But the male doctor wanted to put a needle in the side of my penis and drain the blood out and get my erection to go down , well I allowed him to proceed and he got the needle in an a few drops of blood came out onto my thigh , then the damn needle fell out , needless to say that the Doctor didn't know what to do ??? so, he told me to see my doctor in the morning, so I went home and waited in pain now like you would not believe , I called my Dr office @ 8;30 am when they opened and my Dr. wouldn't even talk to me he told the receptionist told me to go to the Hospital in Macon , So I go to Macon and They are asking me if I took a boner pill ( by the way everyone ask me if I took a boner pill , well to make a very long story short , I had a hard on for over72 hours , the Dr was giving me morphine and I was still hurting , Finally a urologist Who they told me was the priapism guru , he was a very handsome man in his late 30's I was in good hands now he did surgery on me and got it taken care of , I don't know what he did but I have some discoloration on the head like a Bruise and I stay simi erect now and I constantly adjust myself , He said it's just something I am going to have to live with , But the good news is that they changed my meds and I can still get a hard on . has anyone else suffered from Priapism???? out here in XH world, If so, I would really like to hear your story Thank you all so much!
